Privacy Policy

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus what any web server records:

• Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
• Project planner: the project type, features, timeline and budget range you pick, and your name, email address, and optionally your company and a description.
• Emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you send us, and what you share with us during a project.
• Technical data: like every website, our hosting server receives your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, and may keep these in short-lived server logs for security and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for payment card details, government ID numbers or other sensitive information through the website, and we ask you not to include them in a message.

• to reply to your message or project request and prepare a proposal;
• to deliver, support and invoice the work you engage us for;
• to keep the website and our systems secure and working; and
• to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We use your information because you asked us to contact you or to provide a service, or because the law requires it. We do not use it for automated decision-making, we do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them, and we never sell your personal information.

This website uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. It keeps three small settings in your browser’s own storage, which never leave your device:

• your light or dark theme choice;
• whether the home page introduction has already been shown during this visit; and
• a note that the 3D scenes ran too slowly on this device, so the lighter version is shown for the next few days.

You can clear them at any time in your browser settings; the website will still work.

We share personal information only with the services we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:

• Email: messages from the website are delivered to our inbox through Google’s Gmail service.
• Hosting: the company that hosts this website and our products processes the requests and data sent to them.
• Professional advisers such as our accountants, where needed.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Links on the website to other sites, such as Google Maps, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, GitHub or the QR App vendor site, take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Website messages are kept in our email for as long as we are talking with you or working together, and then for as long as is reasonable to answer follow-up questions. Project and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Server logs are kept only briefly.

The services we use, such as Google’s email, may store data on servers outside India. We choose established providers and use them only for the purposes above.

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to our inbox and systems is limited to the people who need it, and what you type into the website’s forms is checked and cleaned before it is emailed to us. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we take reasonable care and will tell you without delay if a breach affects your information.

Our products and the software we build for clients may store information about a client’s guests, customers, suppliers, farmers or staff. That information belongs to the client, who decides why and how it is collected. We process it only to provide, host and support the software, on the client’s instructions, and keep it confidential. If your details are held in a system one of our clients runs, please contact that business first; we will help them respond.

Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other laws that may apply to you, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct or complete it;
• delete it, where we no longer need to keep it; and
• stop using it, if you withdraw consent you gave us.

Email info@shelldan.com with your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update this policy when our practices change, for example if we add analytics or new forms to the website. The date at the top shows the latest version. The Terms of Service explain the rest of our relationship with you.
